How does Pir, Imaginative Rascal ‘s Team ability work in THG?

I’m trying to build a deck that I can play to support my GF’s janky Grumgully deck in Two Headed Giant and thought Pir would work pretty well as long as his “team” ability would apply to her board as well. What do y’all think??

Yes, two-headed giant is a team game format and Pir will affect your teammate's permanents. Entering the battlefield with counters does count as "putting" counters onto the permanent for effects that care about such things.
