How does Phyrexian Unlife interact with exchanging life totals?

Asked by ComboCrazy 8 years ago

I have a deck that contains Phyrexian Unlife and was considering adding Soul Conduit as a win condition. How would this work? Can I still exchange the life totals? And does it instantly kill the opponent if I do, or do they need to lose more life?

I'm talking about if I have zero or less life here.

You can still exchange life totals. You still have a life total even if that total is a negative number. If you exchange life totals while your life is at 0 or less, the player with whom you exchange will lose the game as a state-based action because he or she does not have the same ability preventing him or her from losing the game.

Yes. The Q&A handles rules questions, which this is.
