How does Faces of the Past and Imagecrafter interact?

Imagecrafter is on the field and has tapped to make a creature which will be Doom Blade'd a wizard. Does Faces of the Past untap the Imagecrafter?

As far as I know it simply checks the last state of the creature before it leaves the field?

The creature was a wizard when it was last on the battlefield, so yes Imagecrafter will untap. If Faces of the Past cared about the printed value on the card it would say, "whenever a creature card enters a graveyard from play."
