Heroic Combo

So I have a bunch of Human creatures with heroic and a Precursor Golem. I've already changed the golem's text from golem to human via Artificial Evolution. So my question is, can I cast an instant on one human then it gets copied for every other human triggering all heroics?? I'm thinking no, bc I only cast it targeting the first one, the rest are copies that aren't cast...but figured I'd ask just in case

You're thinking correctly. Heroic triggers when the spell is cast, but the copies made by Precursor Golem's ability weren't cast.

Please use examples of spells targeting it so i can understand what you are asking better. Precursor Golem does not have heroic even if he becomes a human.

@julianjmoss While they effects of Heroic creatures may vary, the way the Heroic abilities trigger on the different creatures is identical. Whether Hero of Iroas or Akroan Crusader, etc., it doesn't matter, the question is the same and the answer would be the same.

Sorry, misread your statement but again, I doubt whether or not you're using Giant Growth or Mizzium Skin or whatever changes anything about the question.

billpasdmf the reason i ask is that Precursor Golem does not have heroic anything so his phrasing is very confusing.

I reread the question and i understand now, Colten you are correct as the new spells generated off of the golem do not trigger heroic as you are not casting them.

@julianjmoss: Precursor Golem doesn't have heroic, nor does it need to. It's there to copy spells.

Epoch I understand I got confused. What the person was asking was if he makes golems text change so that you copy the spell for each human rather than golem, does it trigger heroic on his other humans
