Hello, how does Cathars' Crusade work with different sources creating creatures seemingly at the same time.

For example, if I create 2 tokens, 1 with Spirit Cairn and another one with Drake Haven , will the tokens see each other so that both get 2 +1+1 counters from, or will only one get 2 and the other one get 1 +1+1 counter?

Not in this case, no. Because the tokens are not being created simultaneously. You have two different triggered abilities triggering off of the same event, they will go onto the stack and resolve separately, and as each of them resolves, Cathars' Crusade will trigger and go on the stack before the next can resolve. So for example, if you stack them so that Spirit Cairn resolves first, you'll create a 1/1 flying spirit, and Crusade will trigger, going onto the stack and putting a +1/+1 on each creature you control, THEN Haven will resolve, creating a 2/2 flying drake, and Crusade will trigger again.

If you were creating more than one token with a single effect, such as something like say Raise the Alarm , it would function as you described and both tokens would get 2 counters.

Additionally, if at least one of the tokens is being produced by a spell or ability you can respond to the first trigger of Cathars' Crusade . For instance using Spirit Cairn and Moorland Haunt :

  1. Spirit Cairn triggers.
  2. Spirit Cairn resolves, creating a 1/1 spirit and triggering Cathars' Crusade .
  3. You respond by activating Moorland Haunt .
  4. Moorland Haunt resolves, creating a 1/1 spirit and triggering Cathars' Crusade again.
  5. Cathars' Crusade resolves putting a +1/+1 counter on both spirits.
  6. Cathars' Crusade resolves again, putting a second +1/+1 counter on both spirits.
