Heartless Summoning and Angel of Invention

If you were to play a Angel of Invention, would the etb activate if you had Heartless Summoning on the battlefield?
Unless you of course had any other anthem effects that were boosting the P/T of creatures on board. Such as Dictate of Heliod.

Angel of Invention would enter, it's ability would trigger, it would die, it's ability would go on the stack, then after a round of priority it's ability would resolve and you'd have the option to put counters on a thing that's not there (so do nothing) or create two 1/1 servos. If you chose to make the servos they would then die.
TL;DR - Yes, it would trigger, but no, it wouldn't do anything.
