God-Eternal Kefnet + Ral, Storm Conduit

Asked by Skyscraper 3 years ago

Does the ability of God-Eternal Kefnet count as copying an instant or sorcery as well as casting an instant or sorcery? For instance: will casting an instant or sorcery with his ability trigger Ral, Storm Conduit two times? One time for copying and one time for casting an instant or sorcery?

You won't get a trigger from the copy being made, but you will when you cast the copy.

Ral, Storm Conduit's ability triggers when you cast or copy an instant or sorcery spell, meaning a spell on the stack, and God-Eternal Kefnet's ability copies a card going into your hand. Kefnet's copying ability doesn't trigger Ral, but casting the copy of the card does.
