Flickered Akroma, Angel of Wrath and Abrupt Decay

If I have the above akroma as a facedown creature, what happens if my opponent attempts to cast Abrupt Decay on it and I respond with Cloudshift ?

When a card changes zones, it's treated like it's a new object, with no "memory" of where it's been before. Your face-down Akroma, during Cloudshift 's resolution, go to exile and return to the battlefield face-up. Then,when Abrupt Decay goes to resolve, it would be countered for losing its targets. Note that this is a part of the rules of the game, not from a spell or ability, which is why the Decay can be countered.
