Exile vs creature board wipe
Asked by cris4863 4 years ago
Let's say I have some creatures exiled with conclave tribunal and ixalan binding and there's tokens being made and I have a Cleansing Nova to get rid of all creatures does that imply the ones that are exiled?
And would make my exiles worthless?
Ah thank you I forgot they went to a different place since most of the time in paper we just place the card on top someone was trying to say the exiles went away and could play creatures that we're ixalan binded

We're doing exactly the same thing in paper, putting the exiled creature card under the enchantment. :-)

Couple quick administrative things. In the future, please use the Rules Q&A section of this site when you have questions about cards, card interactions, or rules. That section has some additional functionality, such as the ability to mark an answer to indicate your question has been resolved.
I have gone ahead and moved this thread for you, as well as marked an answer on your behalf, as you’ve indicated the question was resolved and you have no further follow ups.
Also, please remember to link your cards with double brackets, like so:
[[conclave tribunal]]
[[ixalan’s binding]]
[[Cleansing Nova]]

No, your exiled creatures stay inthe exile zone. Boardwipes only affect creatures on the battlefield.
