Evoke mechanic and Fling

Hello!
Say I pay 1RR and evoke my Spitebellows. It hits the field and is immediately sacked. My question is: does the sac count as a trigger, one that I could respond to? I'm trying to Fling it with Brion Stoutarm for extra damage. Thanks a ton!

Yes, it counts as a trigger. Anything that starts with one of the words "when", "whenever", or "at" is a triggered ability. You can see it a bit in the reminder text for evoke ("when it enters the battlefield"), but it's clearer in the full official rules text for he ability. You're allowed to respond to the "sacrifice this" trigger of evoke by casting Fling.
