Elixir of Immortality when stuff falls off.

I have an Elixir of Immortality enchanted with Ensoul Artifact , and I tap it and pay for it's ability, does ensoul artifact go to my graveyard before or after it gets shuffled in.

Sending an unattached Aura to the graveyard is one of the State Based Actions (SBAs), which are checked end executed right before a player would get priority. This means Ensoul Artifact is put into the graveyard right after you're finished resolving Elixir of Immortality 's ability.

After.

Elixir of Immortality will remain on the battlefield up until the moment during the ability's resolution that it gets shuffled. Ensoul Artifact will remain on the battlefield during this process, then get put into its owner's graveyard as a state-based action after the ability resolves.

The previous two answers are correct, but here's some extra info.

Note that if the Elixir removed itself from the battlefield as part of activating the ability (rather than just shuffling itself in when the ability resolves), then the Ensoul Artifact would be in the grave at the time and would get shuffled back in.

An example of a card which would have this sort of interaction is Relic of Progenitus , if its second ability is used. The Ensoul Artifact would in this instance get exiled.
