Does shroud affect equipped Ring of Evos Isle?

I know can't equip a creature with shroud, but what will happend to what Ring of Evos Isle grants to the creatue if that creature gets shroud when already being equipped?
Can use the paid hexproof? Will the creature still gain counters?

Once the ring is equipped it is equipped, and it can do any of the things it can do while equipped. Shroud/Hexproof only prevent targeting. Any spell or ability that does not explicitly use the word target is not affected by Shroud/Hexproof. The Equip ability uses Target in it's rules text, so it targets, but things that happen to "equipped creature" do not target them. So if you equip Ring of Evos Isle to a creature, and that creature later gains shroud via some other effect, say Robe of Mirrors, then the ring stays on the creature, and can still use its activated abilities and its triggered ability.
