Does Prism Ring work for copied spells?

I am really new to this game and I've been playing Prism Ring along side Pyromancer's Goggles, and when I've cast a red spell using Pyromancer's goggles I've wondered if the copied spell along with the normal spell give me life? So instead of gaining a single life I gain two because I have cast two spells?Again really new to this and I did google the shit out of this first off so I wouldn't have to be asking dumb questions. But any help would be great, thanks.

Whether the spell is being copied doesn't matter - just if the spell's been cast. Most cards that do this phrase it similar to "you may cast the copy [without paying it's mana cost]".

Since the Goggles only copy a spell (as in, put a copy of a spell on the stack) and don't let you cast it, Prism Ring will not trigger.
