Does Archfiend of Depravity target creatures?

Asked by Trockenmatt 9 years ago

As for the card in question, Archfiend of Depravity is what I am talking about. What I mean is, if they have an Archfiend out and I have a creature with Shroud out, can I target the creature with shroud for one of the two creatures?

A spell or ability only targets if it uses the word "target." No "target," no target.

Thank you, Epochalyptik. That means that if I have a shroud deck, archfiend will not completely screw me over, just mostly.

No. It means that you still choose 2 creatures and sac the rest. It doesn't target a thing. Its a global effect.
