Do you draw a card off of runic armasaur's ability when one of your opponents activates his cabal coffers ?

Just to be sure. My friend activates his Cabal Coffers while I'm controlling a Runic Armasaur . Is the coffers ability a mana ability or do I get to draw a card ?

It is a mana ability. The three requirements for an activated ability are:

605.1a An activated ability is a mana ability if it meets all of the following criteria: it doesn't require a target (see rule 114.6), it could add mana to a player's mana pool when it resolves, and it's not a loyalty ability.

Cabal Coffers ' ability meets all three.
