Do these two cards interact how I think they should

Asked by griffstick 7 years ago

So say I have Bridge from Below in the graveyard and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet in play. An opponents non token creature dies from my Fleshbag Marauder. It gets exiled before ever reaching the graveyard right? Therefor making a 2/2 token from the traitor and another 2/2 from the bridge from my flesh bag right? The interaction between these to work differently then the interaction between Bridge from Below and Leyline of the Void? Am I wrong? And how does the interaction work differently

Bridge from Below's exile ability will only trigger if a creature your opponent control dies. If a nontoken creature is exiled by Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, Leyline of the Void, Anafenza, the Foremost, Wheel of Sun and Moon, or any similar effect Bridge from Below will not trigger. None of these prevent Bridge from Below triggering off a token dying.
