do i always get to pick wich one of 2 of the same legendaries i get to keep

Im working on s superfriends deck

lets say i got a Doubling Season on the battlefield and i play Samut, the Tested i -7 wil i be able to fetch Samut, the Tested + what ever keep the new Samut and repeat it 2 more times?

Yes. You choose which instance to keep, and you put all others into their owner's graveyard.
