Damage dealt to a PW equipped with Luxior, Giada's Gift

I just want to clarify that I am interpreting Luxior, Giada's Gift correctly. It says the equipped permanent is no longer a planeswalker which means that it cannot be attacked directly by opponents and that it won't lose loyalty counters when dealt damage; is that correct?

Those are the two biggest consequences I have thought of since the permanent is no longer a planeswalker. Are there any other similar implications I have not thought of?

You are correct about the Equipped permanent not being able to be attacked directly and not losing loyalty counters due to being dealt damage. Those are the two largest implications from making a planeswalker into not a planeswalker. The other ones are minor like not being able to save another creature and the no-longer-a-planeswalker from Cataclysmic Gearhulk. The other implication of Luxior, Giada's Gift that people were excited about was that it goes infinite with Devoted Druid, but Devoted Druid goes infinite with a ham sandwich, so I don't think that is too big of a deal.

Another consequence is that it won't die for having 0 loyalty, though it will for being a 0/0 unless it has a different counter or source of toughness. It also can't benefit from things like The Chain Veil or Kasmina, Enigma Sage.
