Could I Cloudshift a card brought back from the gaveyard with Goryo's Vengeance to cancel the remove from the game effect?

In response to the exile trigger from Goryo's Vengeance could I Cloudshift to stop the creature from permanently leaving play?

Yes, the Cloudshift will cause the creature to be an entirely new object with no memory of the fact that it had been in the graveyard, or that it was supposed to be exiled.
