Confusion about Gutter Grime

I've been using this card for a while but I never understood it's true power. Say if I had a creature that died thus putting one counter on Gutter Grime and giving me a 1/1 token. Then another creature of mine dies giving me a 2/2 ooze in the process. Would my first ooze token become a 2/2 or would I have the pattern of 1/1 2/2 3/3 so on and so forth?

9/22/2011: The power and toughness of the Ooze tokens will constantly update as Gutter Grime accumulates slime counters.
This is because the tokens have a characteristic-defining ability. CDAs constantly check and update according to changes in the relevant game conditions.
