Colorless mana symbol and Training Grounds

For creatures with colorless mana symbols in their activation costs like Eldrazi Displacer or Prophet of Distortion can the reduction in cost from Training Grounds be used to "pay" for the colorless mana symbol? Thanks

So you know, here's the specific rule handling this interaction:
118.7a Effects that reduce a cost by an amount of generic mana affect only the generic mana component of that cost. They can't affect the colored or colorless mana components of that cost.

No. From Gatherer:
Training Grounds won’t affect the part of an activation cost represented by colored mana symbols or snow mana symbols. It also won’t affect nonmana parts of an activation cost, if there are any. (2010-06-15)
While this Gatherer entry was written when was not part of the game, it still represents a cost to be paid and it is not generic mana, which is the only type of mana affected by Training Grounds.
If you have Training Grounds in play, Eldrazi Displacer 's ability will cost up to 2 less to a minimum of , while Prophet of Distortion 's ability can cost only .
TLDR Colorness mana is not the same as generic mana.
