Nettlevine Blight and protection

My opponent has enchanted my land with Nettlevine Blight. I have a Great Sable Stag, which has protection from black. How does its protection interact with Nettlevine Blight? Am i able to attach the enchantment to my stag to sacrifice it?

Protection prevents a creature from

• getting Damage from
• being Enchanted or Equipped by
• being Blocked by
• being Targetted by

the specified sources (DEBT acronym).

Great Sable Stag can't be enchanted by black sources, so you can't chose to attach Nettlevine Blight to it.
