Can Patron of the Orochi's ability be copied?

Patron of the Orochi equipped with Illusionist's Bracers, does his effect only go off once or twice? Same question for using Rings of Brighthearth.

It will happen twice. The restriction on Patron of the Orochi only stops you from activating the ability more than once in a turn. It doesn't do anything about you copying the ability directly on to the stack.

Both Illusionist's Bracers and Rings of Brighthearth have a triggered ability that copies Patron of the Orochi's activated ability, putting the copy on the stack on top of the original ability. The copy will resolve, untapping all relevant permanents, then the original will resolve, untapping them again.

If you have both Illusionist's Bracers and Rings of Brighthearth in play, you can copy it twice, for a total of 3 iterations of the same ability, allowing you to untap all relevant permanents thrice.
