Can I Transmute my top card if it's revealed?

Asked by KCisSICKnasty 8 years ago

For instance, Future Sight is out. My top card is Muddle the Mixture. May I transmute it? I figure you cant because transmute says discard, but what's the ruling on that if it's your top card?

No because the ability requires it to be in your hand to be activated.

Old Future Sight says "as if it were in your hand", so it tripped me up.

I can understand that. Just remember to always look after erreta, it's anoying, but can be a lifesaver. But it is also important to notice that activating an ability of a card isn't actually playing it.

Right. That's what my instincts said. Just making sure. Thanks! (:
