Can i drain my life with Carrion Howler ?

My idea of a bizarre modern deck is a bunch of creatures like Wall of Blood that you can drain your life a lot, and gain it back with, for example, Children of Korlis and play with your life basically with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Vizkopa Guildmage and cards like that, and i found Carrion Howler and was asking myself if i can activate its abillity, and before it resolves, acivate it again and again and again, so the creature will die but i will drain my life to whatever number i want to, but i'm not sure if i'm correct.

That works, you just hold priority and keep activating it.
