Can Angel of Jubilation counter the effects of Eldrazi Monument?

I have both Cards in my deck and was wondering since Angel of Jubilation stops sacrificeing if it would negate the sacrificeing effect on Eldrazi Monument

An activated ability is always written out as "Cost : Effect". Sometimes this is hidden in the full rules text of a keyword ability, like in the case of Equip or Crew. The key thing here is that Eldrazi Monument doesn't have any activated abilities, so Angel of Jubilation doesn't interact with it.

@Clockwurk: Eldrazi Monument's second ability is a triggered ability. Its first ability is a static ability. "Passive ability" is not a term in Magic. The distinctions are important, especially in this case (where we're talking about something that applies only to activated abilities).

Okay, Epochalyptik, thank you for the correct terms. However, I believe the second ability is static as well, since triggred ablities say when or whenever, nothing happens to trigger Eldrazi Monument's second ability.

A triggered ability starts with "when", "whenever", or "at". The second ability is a triggered ability. The event that triggers the ability is the upkeep step beginning.

No, since Angel of Jubilation says you can't sacrifice to cast spells or activate abilities. Eldrazi Monument's ability is a passive ability, not being activated by anything, so no, you wouldn't stop sacrificing.
