Brian Stoutarm and Grafted Exoskeleton

Greetings.I've had one player say yes, one player say no, and a shop owner who wasn't sure.

I'm looking at using Brion Stoutarm as a commander. If I equip Brion with Grafted Exoskeleton , exoskeleton says equipped creature deals damage as poison counters to player. Brion sacs a creature and deals damage equal to power of creature.

So, just wishing to confirm, damage will be in form of poison counters?

Yes.

Because Brion Stoutarm is the source of the damage, the damage is modified by any of Brion Stoutarm 's other relevant abilities. Notably, lifelink (which Brion Stoutarm has by default) and infect (which is conferred by Grafted Exoskeleton ) will apply, so you will gain life equal to the damage dealt, and the damage will be dealt in the form of poison counters.
