Yes, you may. Always check a card's Gatherer entry for any FAQ's the card may have answered there, such as this one:

  • You dont choose whether the spell is going to be an Aura spell or not until the spell is already on the stack. Abilities that affect when you can cast a spell, such as flash, will apply to the creature card in whatever zone youre casting it from. For example, an effect that said you can cast creature spells as though they have flash will allow you to cast a creature card with bestow as an Aura spell anytime you could cast an instant.

You don't cast the ability. You cast Boon Satyr .

Put simply, bestow modifies what the spell is. It doesn't modify anything about when you could cast the spell.

So Boon Satyr has Flash whether he's being cast as a Creature spell or a non-creature Aura spell, so is Bestowing him at "instant speed" is OK ? Thanks guys.

That's correct. Flash always applies to the card it's on, regardless of how you might cast it. Therefore, flash is still relevant even if you are paying an alternate casting cost like bestow.

Thanks Epochalyptik and Greatsword your help is appreciated... I'll start using the card's Gatherer FAQ's instead of bothering people with my noob questions.cheers

I hope you don't feel bad, it's good to ask questions. Even if you do get an answer off Gatherer, you still may not understand why it works that way. We're happy to help.
