Would a Forest targeted by a spell with Awaken, (Land you control is a 0/0 Elemental creature with x +1/+1 counters on it.) still be considered "basic"?
Awaken doesn't remove types or supertypes. The permanent retains any types, supertypes, and subtypes that it had before the awaken effect applied to it.
"Basic" doesn't require that the land have no other abilities. It doesn't require anything.
