Attacking/Blocking with Abilities

Asked by PhoenixNest 5 years ago

I have two questions regarding attacking/blocking and some abilities. First question- If I have a, say Mist-Cloaked Herald, on the battlefield but due to some ability it gains flying, can it be blocked by flyers or creatures with reach? Second Question- If I have a creature under my control with Flying, Shadow, and Horsemanship, can my opponent block it with a Shu General or do they need to block my creature with one of their own with Flying, Shadow, and Horsemanship?

No. Mist-Cloaked Herald has the ability "Mist-Cloaked Herald can't be blocked," so it can't be blocked.

A creature with Flying, Shadow, and Horsemanship can only be blocked by a creature that has shadow, horsemanship, and either flying or reach.
