Argentum Armor Owned by me on a creature my opponent controls

Asked by DudeManBro66 6 years ago

If I own a creature say... Karona, False God controlled by my opponent and I equipped it with Argentum Armor, would I be the one to destroy the permanent, or would it be my opponent? Thanks!

As long as an opponent doesn't somehow gain control of the Argentum Armor (such as with a Zealous Conscripts) you will get to choose the target of the triggered ability if they attack with Karona, False God. Note that you can only equip the Argentum Armor to a creature you control, which as it's limited to sorcery speed anyways you should control Karona, False God any time you would be able to activate the equip ability anyways, but your question was phrased a bit like you'd be equipping while you didn't control it.
