Can you Teferi's Protection while the Hurricane you casted is on the stack for lethal and win?

Yes you can and your life total will not change. It works the same when it comes to permanents with stuff like Obliterate, Armageddon or even Wrath of God.

While it's true your life total can't change, it's worth noting that you have protection from everything, so the damage is actually prevented, rather than just the result of the damage.

Thanks Neotrup but that didn't answer my question.

yeah bwanabeast5 actually Neotrup's response DID answer your question. he literally confirmed that you would be protected from the Hurricane. also, where did your confusion come from to begin with? do you not know how the stack works? and btw, the past tense of "cast" is "cast". not "casted".

Sorry, that's because I wasn't exactly trying to answer your question, as Madcookie did a fantastic job of answering it. I was trying to provide more nuance.

Teferi's Protection does a number of things, and if it's resolved and a Hurricane then resolves, the fact you have protection from everything will be the first effect to kick in, preventing the damage. Then, if the damage isn't prevented, perhaps because there is a Leyline of Punishment on the battlefield, the result of the damage will be stopped, as the result would be your life total changing, which is something that can't happen. "preventing damage" and "preventing the result of damage" seem pretty similar, but there a lot of minute implications with each, so I was trying to point out this difference, while not saying the initial answer was wrong, because most of the time it'll play out the same.

An example of the difference would be if it's someone else's Hurricane and they control a Soulfire Grand Master. If the damage is prevented (by your protection from everything) they won't gain life for that damage, but if the damage isn't prevented and you simply don't lose life, they still gain life, because the damage happened, it just didn't do anything to you.
