Are there points where abilities that reveal the top card of your library not applied?

Asked by Yesterday 3 years ago

My opponents controls an Oracle of Mul Daya so that the top card of their library is constantly revealed.

I've noticed in MTGO that this doesn't seem to apply during the resolution of draw spells that draw more than 1. As in, I get to see the top card of their library before they go to resolve Divination, and then afterwards see the card which had been third from the top prior, but don't get to see the second card drawn.

Is this just a UI interface oversight on MTGO, or am I not actually meant to be seeing that second card? If the former, should we also be seeing the fourth card from the top of their library (the one on top of their library after they've drawn three) mid-resolution of their Brainstorm?

All the cards drawn are revealed:

4/15/2013 When playing with the top card of your library revealed, if an effect tells you to draw several cards, reveal each one before you draw it.

I'm not an expert on MTGO, so it could be a bug where there not being revealed, or it could be a UI issue where the cards are being revealed, but not where you'd expect them to be.

In answer to the initial question though, there are points where the cards aren't revealed, but it's a bit more esoteric:

4/15/2013 If the top card of your library changes while you're casting a spell, playing a land, or activating an ability, the new top card won't be revealed until you finish doing so.

This means you can't try to cast the top card of your library, look at the card under it, and then realize you can't actually pay the cost of the spell and put it back.
