Am I correct in that this is a "2"-card infinite combo in mono-white?

The new Commander, Preston, the Vanisher and Felidar Guardian seem to go infinite if you allow them to.

• You need to actually get Felidar Guardian onto the battlefield without casting it for this trick to work. One easy way to do this is have Preston, the Vanisher and Felidar Guardian already in play, then using another spell such as Acrobatic Maneuver.

When you have out Preston, if you did not cast Felidar Guardian and it enters the battlefield, you will have a flicker effect from Felidar Guardian on the stack. Just ignore this particular one unless you have something useful to hit it with.

What we are really interested in is the 0/1 white Illusion token copy of it that Preston, the Vanisher creates. For when that token enters the battlefield, it'll have its own flicker effect.

For the token's flicker effect, we want to hit Felidar Guardian. Which flickers it, creating the loop.

Correct?

Even if we do not have targets we would like to use with Felidar Guardian, that is okay because we will be able to generate an infinite amount of 0/1 tokens. Even if we do not immediately have a wincon such as gaining a trillion life and dumping it all into Aetherflux Reservoir, having a trillion 0/1 tokens on the battlefield can easily help us win the game in many other ways.

Yeah it looks like Preston, the Vanisher and Felidar Guardian can indeed go infinite.
