All is Dust removal priority

Asked by i0brendan0 2 years ago

I have a friend that I play with that uses a card like Frogify . Let’s say they put it on any colorless creature to make it a blue frog creature. Will using All Is Dust cause both the enchantment and creature to be destroyed, or could the enchantment “go” first, causing the creature to no longer be blue, and then no longer be forced to be removed from All is Dust?

The gatherer information for All is Dust does say it removes everything at the same time but I absolutely wanted to make sure in case the enchantment was put on to something I didn’t want to lose.

All colored permanents are sacrificed at the same time. There is no order.

The gatherer is how you make sure. Those are official wotc rulings. It’s often the first place people go to look when answering questions on here.

I would contend that the people who most actively answer questions on here reference the Comprehensive Rules more than Gatherer.

Gidgetimer: i’d disagree based on what i’ve seen.
