After Alesha, Who Smiles At Death attacks and uses her triggered ability to bring a creature tapped and attacking, can you declare additional attackers afterwards?

For example, I have Village Bell-Ringer in my graveyard and I have Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker on the field. I enter the declare attackers step and attack with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death and pay the cost for her triggered ability. I reanimate Village Bell-Ringer. I then copy Village Bell-Ringer with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and make infinite Village Bell-Ringers with haste. From what I understand (I am probably wrong) this all happens on the declare attackers step, so will I be able to declare attacks with all the Village Bell-Ringer tokens? In my playgroup, I have been told I cannot attack with them after I bring back Village Bell-Ringer with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, are they correct? If so, why does this interaction not allow the tokens to attack?

No, you won't be able to attack with the Bell Ringer tokens in your example.

This does all happen during the declare attackers step, but you only get to declare attackers once. Declaring attackers is the first thing you do in the declare attackers step and you do it all in a single action. You can't add to or subtract from your declaration later in the step.

You only get one chance to declare attackers, during the (appropriately named) "declare attackers step." Once you've decided who's attacking, that is set in stone. A creature can be put into play attacking, such as by Alesha, but that bypassed your declaring it as an attacker. Since all of your attackers had to be declared the same time Alesha was, it would be too late for anyone else to join in afterwards (even if it was immediately afterwards.)
