Abbot of Keral Keep and Suspend cards

If the Abbot's ability exiles a suspend card (say, Rift Bolt), can I suspend it from exile or can I only cast it?
Suspend does read "Rather than cast this card from your hand..."

So you can suspend the Rift Bolt? I'm still a bit confused about the interaction?

No. As I said, suspend only functions from your hand.

Suspend only functions from your hand. Abbot of Keral Keep only changes the zones from which you may cast the card; it doesn't change how other abilities work.
