Not Receiving Alerts

I started a thread, earlier, today, and, when I logged into the website, several hours later, I did not notice any alerts on my profile, so I browsed to the forum, and I saw that another user had posted in the thread that I started, so why was I not alerted about it?
DemonDragonJ - I am also not receiving alerts, except for alerts that someone has specifically tagged me. I know the site has been having this issue for a week or so and that it is being worked on. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
In the meanwhile, it is probably a good idea for everyone to tag other users when making posts--assuming that the personal tags notification still works. Personal tags can serve as a de facto "I posted on your thread/deck" notification while the remaining notifications are repaired.
Just to test: Caerwyn (edit: confirming this test was successful and personal tags still provide notifications.)

i'm having the opposite issue. i'm getting extra notifications. i'm getting notifications for comments that were left on posts "before" i even came along and put my own comment.

I was also not getting alerts but within the last few hours I got 8. So it looks like they may of just gotten fixed (the alerts were old).

I think the site is experiencing bugs; some decks have no color indicators, I'm viewing decks and views aren't registering, and I also had the notification thing happen to me. I'm sure they're working on it.
