New Feature! Similar Decks!

No, not show other decks, but similar decks! Look to the bottom right section, underneath your graphs, data and updates and then you'll see. If you are on mobile or table, I have no idea where you are to look.
I think this is a wonderful little feature, as it doesn't impede the "Show other decks" function that appears on the left when you check that box in the settings.
However, I do have some immediate suggestions, is for the score/comments/views statistics to be viewed on them.
EDIT: And for the Red Help Cross if the deck has it to be seen as well.
Hmm, I've noticed thus far that all of the links are to decks made by upgraded users. Is it set that way, or is it just incidental that those are the only deck links I've seen since the update?

You don't have to be upgraded. It's just that upgraded users deckcycle more often. We do get 3 deckcycles after all.

Yesterday/Today most likely, as other bugs were fixed that I noticed today.

Ummm, it would be 'Soooo great', if it worked. So I tried it out with 3 of my decks, and a couple of the 'similar' ones suggested. Most of the decks didnt have a single card that was in mine other than basic land, and some did not even have that in common. I tried some pretty basic archtypes aswell, tribal warriors, Tallowispspirit/enchantments, even devotion came back with just a deck sharing 2 Aspect of Hydra. Im 100% sure there are similar decks to mine on this website, so Im not sure why they are not being suggested as similar decks.

It's a cool idea, but from first glances it seems a bit glitchy. With my Saffi Eriksdotter deck, I keep getting Trostani, Selesnya's Voice or Selvala, Explorer Returned decks advertised. And I notice that certain deck are being favoured - I clicked through a bunch of decks and saw the same cluster of decks being re-advertised while other decks that should be showing up don't.

Way of the Warrior, Devotion, the Poor Mans Chroma, and Pillory of Lashes {Budget} were the three I tried. They had next to nothing in common with the decks suggested as similar. As I said before, some didnt have a single card in common, such as Pillory of Lashes has this deck at the top of the list for similar: Color? Meh.

I just checked it again and there are different suggestions for it, but almost equally as irrelevant. :S
I certainly hope you guys can work out the kinks in the system, its an awesome idea and Im looking very much forward to using it!

enpc, that's because of the function of deckcycles. Heavily deckcycled decks are put on the top of the list above all the others.

Yeah, I'm not sure about putting heavily cycled decks above others in order of appearance. That's essentially just a "The rich get richer while the poor can go f*** themselves" policy.

its not like that :P
it contains other legal decks with no ordering whatsoever aside from how similar it is to the thing you are looking at.

@ yeaGO if that were true, then I would be getting almost exclusively Derevi, Empyrial Tactician decks with similar builds when I look at my own Derevi deck: Derevi and Brago: The Romance of the Millennium. Instead I get junk like "I'm about to Roon your Day", "~Turbo Fort~ [EDH] Multiplayer (BANT) Proof" and"~Pearlessence~". While all of them are in bant colors, none of them are similar to my deck due to having different commanders, strategies, and lists. Notice also that each of those was made by an upgraded user and has at least 18 likes already.

yeah i am messing with thresholds so higher scoring decks are in for now. i'll get back to you about that, NarejED

It looks like they just appear in line on mobile if one just keeps on scrolling past deck stats. Really glad this was added. It brings a lot of fluidity to browsing different lists for ideas. And I think it increases the utility of having a big database of decks that don't necessarily get cycled all that often.
