How do I link my decks? (Answered)

I'm trying to set it up so that each of my decks has a link to my other decks in the description. But everytime I try to do that, it either doesn't link or it links to someone else's deck. Is there a way for me to ensure it links to my own decks? Thanks in advance.

You need to make sure you call it exactly what it is referred to as in the url. It removes things like slashes and punctuation.

Ephara Approaches Again is an example of one of your decks, if I’m not mistaken. Make sure you don’t put a space after the “deck:” inside the double square bracket.

@VampDemigod: Do I need to put the entire URL or just the deck name that's listed in the URL? Would my Ephara deck be ephara-approaches-again inside the brackets?

It’s “deck:ephara approaches again” inside the double square brackets. The reason I bring up the URL is because that will determine what you put in, when there is another deck with the same name.

Please have a read of the Formatting Tips page (you'll also find a link to this just under the comment input text box). It has explanations on how to properly link decks, players, cards, etc. correctly using the Tapped out syntax.

Personally, I prefer using the deck slug rather than the name; sometimes decks have the same name and that can cause issues. The slug method avoids that

First, pull the deck’s slug from the deck’s URL, which is the part in bold:

https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/ephara-approaches-again/

Then use either of the following, depending on what style of link you want to use:

[[deck:ephara-approaches-again]]

OR

[[deck-large:ephara-approaches-again]]

To produce:

Ephara Approaches Again

OR

Ephara Approaches Again

To link a deck say your Brudiclad deck you take the end part (in quotations below) of the link and plug it in to the code below. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/"brudiclad-more-like-brudi-rad-1"/

[[deck:brudiclad-more-like-brudi-rad-1]]

OR

[[deck-large:brudiclad-more-like-brudi-rad-1]]

OR

[Brudiclad EDH](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/brudiclad-more-like-brudi-rad-1/)

Looks like this:

Brudiclad? More like Brudi-rad!

OR

Brudiclad? More like Brudi-rad!
