Foil Art not Showing

TappedOut forum

I think this possibly has to do with the site redesigns currently going on. But I noticed recently in decks I edit or create that have foils the foil art that used to display is gone and now has a rainbow around the edges of the card art. In my older decks they don't have the rainbow edges but also just have the plain art showing.

Personally, I find the rainbow edges kind of tacky and miss the scanned art for the foils, especially the old school foils that don't have foil art but foil borders that are just shiny (and thus no rainbow effects like the rainbow edges suggest).

So I guess my questions are::

1) Is this intentional?

2) If so, just temporary?

3) Will this eventually be retroactively applied to older decks or only applied once the deck is edited?

This is an update that was long since coming, and I'm happy it's finally starting to come together. Keep an eye out on the site updates forum in the coming week for a full detailed look on the alteration system.

No offense to anyone who likes it, I agree that it looks awful. I've used this site as long as I can remember and I can't remember a change that I've disliked as much as this one. The rainbow border is just terribly distracting and reminds me a lot of the terribly designed html sites that were commonplace in the late 90's to early 00's.

Unfortunately, I think I have to agree as well. Not liking the way they look at all. :(

I loved the foil gradient overtop my cards. While some people may like it, I think we should atleast have an option to use the old one.

We will go back to the previous foil overlay (and fix old decks that weren't showing it). For the other alterations like etched/thick etc we will use the new frames.
