Error - This type of collection may not have...

I'm trying to update my collection and when I paste my list into the inventory editor and click "Save Changes" I get the error "Errors - Board: This type of collection may not have more than 5000tems". We can't update a collection to have more than 5000 different card types? I had to take the overflow and put them into the "Have" tab of the inventory editor in order to get those cards online.

I may be the only one that keeps a 98% (or more) accurate collection database online between TCGPlayer.com and Tappedout.net but TCGPlayer's collection tracker doesn't let you use advanced filters to search it like Tappedout does in order to build decks. HEELLPPP!

Bruh why would you inventory over 5000 cards, that sounds like a huge pain in the ass

Thanks a bunch YeaGo

ThisIsBullshit You sound like the folks at my LGS. I do it because I like to search what I own for cards that do what I need when building a deck. For example, what cards do I own that have hexproof with a cmc 4 or less in these 2 colors. Once you get the initial inventory established, adding new cards to it isn't very tedious as long as you keep on top of it. TCGPlayer updates your collection for you with purchases made from there. So all I have to add manually are what I get from packs, precon decks and PucasTrades. Then I convert that table from TCGPlayer collection tracker into a csv text using a spreadsheet with a lookup table and filters. I only have to make entries into that one location then occasionally convert it to tappedout format and pucatrade format.

TL;DR Because I got used to how easy it was to search my MTGO collection on that program.

I still get the error when I paste the list into the "Inventory" tab. I've tried to clear the Inventory tab and paste the list in the "Have" tab but it gave me an error about the Inventory tab needing an entry. So, I put a single card in the Inventory and pasted the collection in the Have tab and saved changes. It said it saved/updated but the inventory only shows the one place holder card I put in it and nothing was actually saved to the Have collection.
