Infinite combo in Standard?

Standard forum

My friend told me tonight that he had played against a Standard deck on Magic Arena that had an infinite combo that hit him for 2 each time.

Does anyone know what he's talking about?

It's not the one where you make a Creature have huge toughness, then hit it with Star of Extinction.

It was something that let you infinitely hit your Opponent with 2 damage, until you have whittled them down.

Thanks for any help in this area.

There is one with Famished Paladin, something that gives it lifelink, and anything that lets it ping an opponent on tap, some equipment I think does that.

Super Budget Standard Combo (Rotation Proof) is someone's version btw.

Yes, that seems to be it.

It requires a lot of pieces but I suppose you could add to the mix so that you can dig through your deck. Might also help to counter anything that would break the combo.

Thanks for the reply.

Deathfrill spitter. The dinosaur that when enraged deals 2 damage to Target player. Make indestructible. Have forerunner of the empire? Then throw in poliraptor. Triggers galore!

That sounds like a tricky combo to achieve without some form of Tutor.

We do have some in , but they don't come out until Turn 4 and 5.

It doesn't tutor for all the pieces you need.

You still need something to make Frilled Deathspitter Indestructible.

You also can't guarantee that you will get it in hand, which means that you need a way to tutor for IT.

I just meant the polyraptor combo xD no need for indestructible, you get like 72 power on field?

There's also a four creature infinite combo involving Biomancer's Familiar and Slimefoot, the Stowaway .

I've just build a deck that can do this its a mid range jasper deck built around Lumbering Battlement.

You can infinity loop using a combination of any three of Mirror Images (copying battlement), battlements (must have one) & Hostage Takers, (u can target battlement with this then when u remove hostage from the battlefield it will return him to the battlefield) and using Corpse Knight to kill them with all the pings.

Its not hard to pull off as every Peace of the combo is good on its own, can be played in almost any order at anytime and have strong effects.

The deck has a lot of draw options and tutoring effects, still improving the deck so would love some feedback it feels pretty good on ladder.
