Decks to live/die post-rotation

Let's debate here where the top decks are going to be post-rotation and why:

Argo - Dead

It loses a majority of the creatures and spells needed to make it good. So I'm confident that come October we won't see this deck come back anytime soon

Turbo Fog - Alive

Rotation doesn't really touch this deck; it loses a few pieces like Gift of Paradise; but I don't see this knocking the deck down all that much. This will continue to see play post-rotation

That's the only two I can think of; but let's see what else people believe or if they disagree with the two mentioned

GPG Decks: “Ded (not a big surprise)”

Grixis midrange: Alive with tweaks from post rotation cards.

Mono Black zombies: Dead unless it’s heavly supported in “the return return return return return return to ravinica” XD well actually it’s “kind of already dead” (I’ll see myself out)

“UW Teferi” alive >:(

BR Chainwhirler: Dead HALLELUJAH!!

Path of mettle decks look good, though I don't know why no one's playing them.

I see a few things happening:

  1. The current RB Aggro deck will be destroyed, leaving a gap in the fast, aggressive deck area unless Guilds builds some powerful aggressive archetypes. I can see a token-based deck being something to contend with, because 1) Selesnya is in Guilds, 2) Look at Goblin Chainwhirler, Plague Mare, and Baird, Steward of Argive. They are all swarm hosers, meaning they are potentially really good sideboard cards once Guilds is out. This could mean they plan on giving Selesnya a real hunk of power, or at least something they want those backup cards ready for in order to keep it under control. So no, Chainwhirler doesn't die entirely, but it stays as a mainly sideboard or backup weapon.

  2. Stompy and/or Dragons will be strong. I recommend getting a playset of Transmogrifying Wand for your sideboard early, in case this happens. If it doesn't happen, you're out what, $4 max? I'd risk it. This because aggro dies out, and Stompy's already solid.

  3. GRAVEYARD DECKS. With Surveil, Jump-Start, and Golgari existing in Guilds, along with Stitcher's Supplier, get some 'yard hate.

And yes, screw turbofog and control. Unless the Stompy and/or Aggro is strong enough, it'll stay around and be a menace.
