Best shell for 4x Karn

I was lucky enough to pull a playset of Karn, Scion of Urza and want to sleeve the ol’ Golem up and need help deciding what type of shell would fit best. I’d like to run all 4 mainboard and have it be competitive. I’ve also not seen any Karns at my LGS, not sure if that makes running a deck with 4 copies more or less potent.

There was a Mono-Black Control build that used 4x, also have considered like a UB Midrange. Not sure if I should go all-in on the Karnstruct route or use him more for card advantage. Superfriends could be fun, or heavy artifact Aggro in something like Dimir or Grixis. I lean more towards Midrange or Combo decks personally but am more interested in what archetype would best utilize access to a playset. Budget not relevant. Thoughts and reasoning appreciated!

I could see him be "best" suited in a U/R or U/B artifact shell. I don't know if I would run 4 of him over 4 Tezzeret in the 4 CMC spot in the U/B version though. I do like having him in the U/R version with Jhoira. Or you could try something different and try a W/x version with Sram and equipments.

Or you could go the boring route and use him in a Karntrol build.

Currently, Grixis Improvize decks are the best shell. WB Benalia can also run it well, if only for the card advantage.

Is it standard only? I have a few modern brews I've been working on if not.
