Aggro Knights Sideboard Help?

Standard Deck Help forum

Hey, I'm fairly new to mtg, and I made an aggro knights deck that seems ok (if you have any suggestions on the deck itself go for it) but I've never made a sideboard, and help with that would be great.

Edit:

Just so you know, you can post links using the following code:

Start by taking the red part of your deck's URL: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/

Then use either of the following:

[[deck:aggro-eldraine-knights]]

OR

[[deck-large:aggro-eldraine-knights]]

Hey I've had a look at the deck and i think it looks fun, most versions of the deck i see run Midnight Reaper or Icon of Ancestry over risk factor but if it works it works.

SB wise the key is to design it against the meta where you play do you play at your local shop, just with friends, on arena ect...

when you have identified the meta were you play you can design an accurate useful sideboard.

until then you can build a general one to help with key archetypes that have been played recently.

I would recommend something along the lines:

4x Duress this can be a key card against control match ups, being able to strip a key removal piece or even a sweeper is important! (if most control decks you play are esper or a lot of the decks you play against are mono black Specter's Shriek instead.

2x Legion's End even though this is no longer useful against golos (WHOOP WHOOP) it is useful against many match ups that run low cost threats in high numbers like golgari adventure and token decks.

2x Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord can really help against similar decks if you have one of these on the battlefield it starts to become difficult to race and it is recursion.

3x Midnight Reaper + 1x Icon of Ancestry alternate draw for matchups were they do not care so much about risk factor (maybe they are playing lifegain ect)

3x Lava Coil against recursive decks or decks that do not run shock-able creatures

I'm not saying this is the best side board to run by any means i'm just saying this is a great starting point
