Duelists in Orlando area/ FNM Question

greetings everyone, I am curious if there are any duelists in the Orlando, Florida area? I have a modern Grixis Control deck and am just looking for people to duel and have fun. And the second question I have is, where can I get started playing socially in Magic? I have called all of the nearby gaming stores and they all state that FNM is for standard only. I am strictly a Modern player and am curious where I can start off playing Modern? I don't want my first place to be a competitive Modern tournament since I have not been to a Magic social event yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tried Coolstuff games? The one in Maitland is pretty huge/nice. FNM is Standard only, but some places will have a Modern night. It's still a tournament but its pretty much same level as FNM so just go there and have fun.
