Looking to Break Maskwood Nexus, preferably dragons.

I haven't played MTG Arena, or Paper since late 2019/early 2020. But I stumbled into spoilers for Kaldheim, and I'm a sucker for norse themed stuff. One of the cards that caught my attention was Maskwood Nexus. I also remember building a cheap sliver deck back when M14 was a thing with Manaweft Sliver. So my question here is, is this a reliable combo to run into a dragon tribal? Maybe something with Lathliss, Dragon Queen into lots of little drops? How much of a bastard could I be with this setup?
Or is there just a better tribe to try running than Dragons?

Maskwood Nexus doesn't really do anything to help dragons. cards that turn creatures into a different creature types are really only useful in situations where you need creatures from outside your main tribe to gain tribal synergies. in a 60 card deck, you're very likely not going to have room for all of that. so i think this card is mainly for commander.

magwaaf: goldspan dragon is ok for standard, but pioneer already has Glorybringer and Demanding Dragon in the 5 mana slot.

You could do Dragon Tempest with a bunch of cheap creatures.
