I was wondering about how competitive Fearless Halberdier is in pauper. does anyone know? because I happen to have five of Fearless Halberdier lying around doing absolutely nothing.

ok Flooremoji, I will keep them for whenever Wizards makes a format that only has vanilla creature with stats worse than it's mana cost.

For Pauper you have creatures like Kird Ape, Delver of Secrets Flip, or Frogmite that hit turn 1 so no, this card has no home unless you need something to start a fire with when it gets cold.

Draft chaff is cards left over after a draft that cannot be used in constructed, like Fearless Halberdier, which is not even good in draft.

The only way to make this playable is if you had any kind of Warrior tribal synergy. In Pauper, finding cards that "Lord" other creatures is not easy to do. Let me suggest Seven Dwarves as a card that would be better to build around.

Honestly, It's probably not that good. Whatever format you play it in, it's still a vanillia creature with stats worse than it's mana cost. If you need to get rid of them, you can give them to a new player, but if you want to play them outside of draft I can't really see any format they would be viable.
