Viability - mono blue wincons

Evening modern community!

I'm trying to put together a monoblue deck to play in modern league in MTGO and currently I don't think there's any win conditions for mono blue besides Murktide Regent. I can't afford buying 4 copies of that card, it's just too expensive. Other cards I can't afford are Archmage's Charm, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Subtlety and Force of Negation. My deck consists of Baral, Chief of Compliance, Snapcaster Mage and Torrential Gearhulk to make spells like Cryptic Command and Time Stop cheaper or free. So far I've been thinking about the viability of these cards below as my win conditions, but I'm not sure if I should include them: Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Thassa's Oracle. I'm also including Narset, Parter of Veils and Ashiok, Dream Render for some utility. What do you guys think?

Uhm, I'd probably suggest splashing some kind of color, as blue doesn't have tons of viability on it's own. I'm not quite sure about MTGO prices, because I saw you mentioned Jace, the Mind Sculptor and budget, so I was thrown off a bit.

Anyway, if sticking strictly to mono blue, I'd probably suggest Hall of Storm Giants as a backup win condition, since the ward basically protects it when you use it correctly, so it is generally an extra threat at little to no investment.

Shark Typhoon could be a decent wincon if it’s cheap enough on MTGO. However i’d also echo the suggestion of splashing a second colour - blue is probably the worst colour to play monocolour with, as the colour has some really glaring weaknesses it needs help with, so you’ll be putting yourself at a massive disadvantage.

Just a heads up: Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, not Jace, the Mind Sculptor.

Also, you could put Leveler in there, maybe. That's a hard maybe, though, probably sideboard at most.

nbarry223 i thought about splashing black to add cards like Extirpate, Duress and some boardwipes. Also I really like to play with Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank /Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank but I wanted something more monocolor. Blue is my fav color, I thought about adding Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer and Mordenkainen however I'm not sure if they're any viable on their on.

wallisface Shark Typhoon is too expensive for me :( I'm thinking about splashing either or

TheOfficialCreator hm Jace, Wielder of Mysteries might be more helpful as a wincon but I'll have to empty my library quite fast. Leveler is an interesting card, could win if it by turn 5 if Jace doesn't get bounced or killed. Too risk but could work. Maybe main deck 4x Pact of Negation?

MrGuizee666 I'd say if you ran 2x Leveler mainboard then 2x Pact of Negation mainboard would be all you need. On the other hand, if you decided to sideboard Leveler you could also sideboard as many Pacts as you saw fit.

I ran a mono blue aggro list for a very long time that's decently powerful, the win con was Nivmagus Elemental. It involved lots of free spells like Snapback, March of Swirling Mist, Disrupting Shoal and Flusterstorm to grow Blistercoil out of nowhere and some other aggressive critters. Judge's Familiar, Thing in the Ice  Flip, and Delver of Secrets  Flip are the most notable of those

Delphen7 Thanks for citing those creatures, I forgot that Thing in the Ice  Flip existed, it's a must have card imo. Nivmagus Elemental looks decent, gonna try it.
